Description and Concept:
Madlax is proud to present PAUL RABIL, who plays both indoor professional Box lacrosse for the Washington Stealth in the NLL and professional outdoor lacrosse for the Boston Cannons in the MLL. Paul is also on Team USA indoor and outdoor teams. Paul will be directing the 2nd annual "Paul Rabil Indoor-Outdoor Lacrosse Clinic" presented by Warrior/Brine and Red Bull. This first-of-its-kind 1-day camp will combine and teach facets from both indoor and outdoor lacrosse, an original concept that works very well. Paul Rabil attributes much of his recent outdoor success to what he has learned in the NLL-National Lacrosse League playing for the Stealth. He now feels that this unique indoor-outdoor camp will cover the areas of each style of the game that are relative to improving your overall lacrosse playing ability and skill.

This camp will share time and focus between indoor box and outdoor field lacrosse skill development. It will mostly cover shooting, dodging and 1v1 offense-defense on both an indoor (4x4.5) and outdoor goal (6x6). The Madlax CBLL-Capital Box Lacrosse League (league starts 12.6.11) was the first true box lacrosse league for boys ages 10-18 in the DC area (est. 2007) and has helped hundreds of local boys improve their skills and outdoor game by playing true box lacrosse each winter. Players in the CBLL and those who have yet to try the CBLL now have the incredible opportunity to learn from one of the best indoor and outdoor box lacrosse players in the world. Sponsored by Warrior/Brine and Red Bull, Paul Rabil is fresh off being named 2011 MVP of the MLL-Major League Lacrosse. He lead the Boston Cannons to their first ever MLL Championship in August, 2011. He was the 2010 MVP at the  World Games in Manchester, England. Paul has also been selected to represent Team USA for the 2011 Indoor Lacrosse World Championships held in Prague. Aside from being named All-World, he lead USA to victory over Canada with 3 goals in the World Championship game. The 2009 MLL Offensive MVP and Player of the Year, Paul Rabil is one of the best players in the MLL-Major Lacrosse League Lacrosse playing for the Boston Cannons.  He also plays professionally indoors in the NLL for Washington Stealth and won a NLL Championship in the 2009-10 season. He was a 3-time All-American at Johns Hopkins and attended Dematha HS here he was All-Met and All-WCAC. Madlax is excited to have Paul direct this special camp. Paul grew up in Gaithersburg, MD in the DC area, attended DeMatha for high school and is now a professional lacrosse player with the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse and Washinton Stealth of the National Lacrosse League. Rabil played midfield in college at Johns Hopkins University. Paul is extremely excited to give back to the youth in the DC area through this unique Indoor-Outdoor Camp. Check out his sites here,

CAMP PLAN
11:30pm - Check-In
12pm - Introductions and Clinic Session Outlined
12:10pm - Dynamic Warm-Up and Stick Skill Drills
12:30-2pm - Box Lacrosse Shooting and Dodging Drill Stations or sessions on a 4x4.5 Goal with real BOX Goalies.
2-3pm - Outdoor Lacrosse Shooting-Dodging on 6x6 Goals in Drill stations and/or sessions.
3-3:15pm - Autograph / Picture Session with Paul Rabil

Location/Directions: This clinic will be held at the recently upgraded Dulles SportsPlex in Sterling, VA. We will use two fields; a brand new field turf field 170' x 70' box lax area on which you should wear molded cleats or athletic shoes and a 210' x 80' All Sport Surface field where you should wear flat soled athletic shooes with good support (basketball or trainers, not running)
