CBLL - Rosters, Schedules, Scores and News 2009-10

News 2/7/10: The CBLL is STILL ON for today (despite the SportsPlex being closed on their website to the public). They are opening special for Madlax and the CBLL today at 11:30am for the first game at 12noon. All games are on as scheduled. The Hawks-Sharks play-in game is still on as well for 5pm. We are keeping the games on today because we think the main roads are OK and we do NOT have any future make-up possible dates that we can see on the SportsPLex schedule. PLus we already missed on e session. It is a very busy arena and they are usually 100% packed. This being said, please do not put yourself at risk getting there today but you should know the main roads are decent and will get better with the sun today. I have checked it out already. Hopefully you have a 4x4 or front wheel drive vehicle. Also the sportsplex parking lot is plowed and ready.

OK. Playoffs are set for HS Elite Division. The Sharks will play the Hawks at 5pm this Sunday in a play-in game for the #4 seed and right to make playoffs. The winner of that game will play the #1 Seed Pink Elephants. The #2 Seed Griffins will play the #3 seed Attack in teh other Semi-Final. See the updated Scores and Standings below for a better explanation and game times. 

NOTE: Please return your jersey after your game today if you are on the Whalers, Pumas, Kings, or Sabers (you can't make playoffs) in the HS Elite Division. Hand directly to Coach in the scorers area on the field. Also HS elite Teams who are 3-3 (Rams and Kings) who lose today can return their jerseys as well as they cant make playoffs either.

Please remember to hold onto your CBLL jersey all season and do not lose it or it will be $90 to replace it if you do not return it after the season. You can change in the locker rooms at the Dulles SportsPLex if you wish. You should wear cleats, not running or basketball shoes, and bring your own water bottle. Be sure to read the Rules of BOX below. Get ready for a great winter lacrosse season.

2008-9 Season Wrap -Up 
Congratulations to the Sabers for winning the HS Elite Championship 9-8 over the Rams. It was an incredible comebcak as the Rams lead 5-1 and the Sabers scored the game winning goal with only 30 seconds remaining. Game MVP honors went to #22, Logan Hancock. The All-Star game was uptempo and exciting and a great conclusion to the season. Everyone involved in that game had fun.

Congratulations to the Humpbacks for winning the High School (JV) Division and the Monsters for winning the Junior Elite (U15) Division.

Thanks to everyone for an INCREDIBLE CBLL 2009 Season! We hope you enjoyed it, improved your skills and are now ready to have a succesful upcoming outdoor season for your team. We hope to see you again in a Madlax program soon.
