Special Notes:
The campers will be divided into 2 groups; "Scoopers" and "Scooper Smashers."  Scoopers will be divided in to Boys and Girls sub groups. We will keep groups small so sign up now as these will fill up. Click 'Online Application' above to register! Campers can be moved in between groups throughout spring as requested and neccessary.

SCOOPERS will be non-contact for boys and girls ages 4-6 (we will have separate scoopers groups for boys and girls) and we will not require pads. Campers will only have to bring a complete stick. Click here to buy an official complete Complete STICK . I prefer that girls use boys sticks since they are SOOOO much easier to use and better for beginners. (We will not let you use fiddle sticks or other weird little sticks used at other places so please buy a complete boys stick)

SCOOPER SMASHERS will be light contact for boys 5-6 and we will require full pads. Click Here to buy a discounted complete set of BOYS Equipment with Complete Stick.   Madlax will cut down these new sticks to fit and prepare the pockets specially for campers and make sure all pads are properly sized and put on at the first session.

Concept/Philosophy:

This is a fun, instructional camp where emphasis is placed on improving individual skills and basic team concepts. It is the goal of Madlax coaches to instill a love for sports through this lacrosse camp. We want every camper to leave SCOOPERS loving lacrosse and wanting more! We will provide the best instruction and safe learning environment for young, aspiring players. Focus will be placed on having fun, safety, teaching and showing proper individual skills for each camper.
 
Athletes will be placed in groups (see above) according to size, skill, and experience. 5-6 year old boys may be required to join Scooper Smashers and wear full pads. In all groups we will teach specific individual skills and basic team concepts. We utilize fun competition in small and various group drills to teach specific aspects of the game. "Fireball" is a Madlax Camp specialty. Every session Madlax will reward one "Camper of the Day" who exemplifies great attitude and effort. This is a small part of of exciting CASE Intitaive that can't start too young for future Madlax All-Stars. This award goes to the camper who asks the best questions, is tough, hustles, and proves to the coaches that he/she wants to get better while having fun! Don't miss this rare opportunity!
