FELL Details
Divisions of Play:
This league has typically been for 10-12th graders who will be or have been on varsity. 9th graders ARE allowed to play in this division if approved by FELL directors who will simply check with HS Head coaches or Club Team directors. 9th graders should put honors and achievements on application. All individuals must register on their own.
ATTN HS Varsity Coaches: If you are a league or team coach or commissioner or organizer and want to bring in a full team please email the director, Steve Cariello at Steve@madlax.com.
When:
• Season is expected to start on 9/18/12
• Games are played on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings between 4-8pm.
• Every Team will play at least 8 games plus playoffs (more than other leagues in area)
• Teams will play 1-3 games per week. We will try to never schedule 4pm games for Loudoun County Teams since they get out of school later than boys from Fairfax County.
Schedule and Rosters:
• We will post a final schedule here when available and the registration is closed but you can count on 4-6 weeks of games. The league will be done in October so it does not conflict with the very busy November recruiting month and circuit.
• We will post rosters 2-3 days prior to the start of the season. ALL players from the same high schools are always on the same rosters. Individual players always make up 2-4 teams so if your high school only has you or a few guys who want to play you will still play on a great team with other varsity level players.
Where:
• We have 2-3 field locations in Northern VA typically in McLean and Fairfax area. We always schedule Maryland teams in McLean fields so it is convenient! Loudoun teams will get Fairfax fields.
Cost:
• Only $195 for up to 11 games. Only $165 through June 30th! This is the BEST VALUE of any fall league in the DC area and we are done in 4-6 weeks. It does not drag on. It is concentrated when the weather is best!
• We schedule up to 11 games per team; 8 Regular Season Games plus a Final 4, Championship and an All-Star Game! That's more games than any other league in the area and cheaper than any other league in the area... as low as $17.73/game! Compare and see...that we offer the best value.
More Features:
• Madlax provides experienced coaches (if you choose) for every team so you don’t have to have a parent or worry about assigning one. We will teach facets of lacrosse during the games, maintain proper substitution shifts and ensure sportsmanship and good behavior that is line with our company CASE (character, attitude, success, effort) initiative.

2011 Season Re-Cap:
Thanks for a fantastic FELL 2011 season. Congratulations to Gonzaga who won the FELL 7-4 in a hard foought game where both goalies, Andrew Spivey (Langley) and Tim Farrell (Gonzaga), shined. This was the 3rd year in a row these teams played in the FELL Championship Game. They split the last two years. These are two of the best teams in the Greater DC area with Langley having won the VA State public three years in a row and Gonzaga has won the WCAC 2 years in a row. The 10-Man Elite Team has been voted upon and the results are in.
