1. Cabell,
   First, I wanted to Thank You for giving XXXX the opportunity to play with and represent MADLAX for the second year in a row.  It was an amazing summer of LAX. Sure, we would have liked to of won Tri-State and with a few bounces and less goal post shots we would have but that didn’t take away from the positive experience XXXX and our family had.  We owe a lot of the experience to the high quality coaches you have representing your program.  Specifically, Coach Dicamillo.  He is one of the best coaches and most knowledgeable (of any youth sport) that I have seen.  Not only did XXX learn and develop as a player he also took away a lot more.  Coach Dico would often talk to the boys about life itself and not only the importance of being a good lacrosse player but being a good teammate, of being a good son and how important it is that they take away from the experience not only the games but the friendships that were made.  XXX will be moving up this fall to U-13 and I can only hope that our relationship with Coach Dico continues.  He has so much to offer the kids and is a "Huge Assett" to your organization that words alone cannot express.  Thanks again and I look forward to our continued relationship with MADLAX.

1. Hi Cabell-
   Thanks for a great MADLAX Spring and Summer 2009 experience. The boys individual stick skills and team play improved over the course of the spring and summer. They experienced the great thrill of winning championships and the disappointment losing multiple games by 1 goal. The Sunday winning ride home feels a lot better. This has been a special team.
   Coach Dico and Sam taught the boys lacrosse and life lessons that will help them develop for many years. It is very rewarding seeing the boys developing new friends in other programs, growing in their changing role with the team and having fun playing lacrosse.
   Enjoy your summer and thanks for the professional well organized program you and your staff put together for the MACHINE!!!!
2. The main focus of this email is to let you know that Coach Dan Ambrose does a terrific job.  He is a great teacher for the boys in explaining how he wants them to play the game, he gives them stern speeches when they need it, but never screams and demoralizes them.  He encourages them and praises them, but expects them to work hard and play unselfishly.  We appreciated his coaching all summer, but it just really stood out to us yesterday when we played the Rock Lacrosse Lime Team at Summer Sizzle.  They were a very skilled team, but played what many would consider a “dirty” game.  The Rock coaches screamed at their own players, the refs, and our players, and were just generally obnoxious.  Not surprisingly, then, their players played the same way, trash talking, standing on our boys’ feet so they couldn’t cut, taking cheap shots, etc. The parents were on the hill behind the teams watching the game, and so unlike other games where we are on the other side of the field and can’t hear what the coaches are saying during timeouts and half time, we were able to hear what the coaches said to the boys.  The difference was night and day.  We were losing by a rather large margin, and I’m sure our boys and Coach Ambrose were frustrated, especially that a team who is winning by that many goals would continue to act the way they did.  But, at one timeout, the boys must have been complaining to Coach Ambrose about the dirty play, and his response was “We don’t play that way.”  We just really appreciate his integrity.  He must have wanted to retaliate, but he didn’t.  Instead he taught our boys to be men of integrity.  He’s a great guy and we hope he’ll continue to coach.  He’s a terrific role model.
3. I'm writing to thank you for another great summer with Team Madlax 2009. This was our third year and the program keeps getting better. The new mini-camp sessions were an excellent way to get the boys together to practice before the tournaments started and it really paid off. As in the past, Madlax entered their teams into the best tournaments that were attended by hundreds of college coaches and the boys played against the best talent in the country. The coaches were top notch as well. All of the boys were able to fine tune their game because of them and the instant feedback from game film at the UVA Tournament was outstanding. Being part of Madlax also allowed us to be included in a new Nike Training Camp Program at Hopkins. 
   I really appreciate the opportunity for XXXX to be a member of Team Madlax. It is very professionally run and all of the boys are very proud to be a part of such a successful and well known program. We look forward to playing in the Fall Tournaments and League. Thanks again for all your support.  
4. Coach Maddux,   XXXX has committed to and will attend Navy Prep. Thanks for all your support over the last few years and for the excellent summer and fall programs you run so professionally. My other son will also continue to be involved with Madlax and is looking forward to two more years. I know that the exposure he received playing with Madlax and your recommendation helped to secure him an invite to the Nike Blue Chip camp this summer. Thanks again for all you do for lacrosse in the area.
5. Hi Cabell, I just wanted to let you know how much XXXX enjoyed playing on the team this year.  It was clear from the start that the Sophs Orange summer 2009 team has really bonded over the years. This year you could see how well they all played together, and respected each other both on and off the field.  Additionally, our coaches, Nick Taylor and Brett Newgaard did a great job, and provided meaningful coaching and instruction.   You could see the development of the team through each tournament.   I know that XXXX's game has improved over the summer, and believe that playing for Madlax is a big part of that. Additionally, it was truly a pleasure getting to know the other families.  We all had a great time at the tournaments, and are looking forward to reconnecting at a tournament or two in the fall!  The players seem to have a done a good job staying connected through the year, and we are going to make sure the parents do too!  Thanks for putting together such a great program!
6. Thank you very much for allowing XXXX to play for Madlax again this year. It continues to be one of his proudest moments to be named to the team. He continually wears the Madlax gear to school and the mall knowing how much of an honor and privilege it is to be a member of a very select group. The team played great this summer against some of the best players in the country. The win over the Crabs will always be very special, as we now have bragging rights in the region. He learned a great deal from his sophomore orange coaches and has developed a real bond with his fellow players. Thanks again for allowing him to experience the success of being a part of Madlax.

Cabell, thanks for the summer 2008 MADLAX experience for the u11 Machine.  The entire experience, the MADLAX orgianization, the practices and tournaments, and especially the coaches exceeded our high expectations.  Coaches Greg Rose and Andrew Klontz were great with the boys. They spent time helping develop their individual skills but most important developing their team skills.  It was impressive at end of a long hot weekend seeing the Head MADLAX guy staying around for a U11 game!!!!!! Says a lot about the organization.   Enjoy the rest of the summer.
8. Cabell, just wanted to thank you for giving xxxx the opportunity to play with the Madlax Rookies over the summer and fall. Heading into the summer tryouts, he was anxious about his ability to play at that level and honestly ... so was I. But he got through that without any problems, had a lot of fun and really developed over the summer - thanks to Scott Conklin and his positive/encouraging approach, a good group of teammates and some great competition. Placing him up on some higher level teams for the fall tournaments also helped boost his confidence even further because he performed reasonably well, and now he's looking forward to indoor winter and box leagues with the Oakton teams while getting ready for the real thing in the spring. The progress/development he's made over the last few months has been amazing and is directly attributable to you, your excellent coaches and your program. Thanks again, and we hope to do it all over again next summer.
9. Cabell just wanted to send a quick note to you, thanking you for the tournament yesterday. Both XXXX and Wooten had a great day. The tournament was well organized, and the talent was as good as I have seen. I also wanted to take the opportunity to thank you and Dale Nalls for including XXXX this fall, what an absolutely amazing experience for him. I was so impressed with the way you and Dale ran the program, and how competitive the kids were in such a short period of time. I am sure you here this from many people, but felt I was remiss if I did not take the opportunity myself. Thanks again!
10. Coach Maddux,
    Thank you very much for the opportunity you gave to XXXXX.  Being a part of Team Madlax for the fall tourneys was very important to him both mentally and physically.  He has worn the team shorts and shirt to school repeatedly, being so proud to be part of the team, and has worked a lot harder in the gym with weights and in the backyard throwing the ball since he got the word that he was playing for the team.  He learned a lot from Coach Nalls and Bonner and enjoyed meeting and playing with the other players that have been with Madlax.  I know this experience will have a lasting effect on him and make him work harder in and out of the classroom in order to be able to compete for a slot next summer.  He will also take advantage of the training opportunities that you provide with Explosive Performance. Thanks for that!  
    I also want to congratulate you on running a great business and for your support of the youth in our area.   Your e-mails are filled with passion for the game and more importantly for higher education which others do not focus enough on.  Continued success as you expand your business in the future.  XXXXX will see you and the other coaches in June 07.  Good luck and thanks again!  - XXXXX
11. Hi Coach,
    I wanted to thank you on behalf of the XXXXX family for all the support you have provided XXXX since he joined your program last year.  Coming from a small school, he previously was not particularly visible to college coaches.  Through MadLax, he has at least been able to dream about playing in college.

    Thanks for your concern, it really means a lot for a player when the coach cares about him not only on the field but off the field. Everything is fine I'm just mad I had to miss the games. 
    I can't thank you enough for having me on the madlax team and having the best summer of my life with this team. With your help I have the chance to play division 1 lacrosse which has been a dream of mine. You have put together a fine organization and a fun one to play for. I played for crossroads this summer and I can safely say that madlax is the best club team to play for without a doubt and I know that your help and guidance brought my game to a new level.  
    I hope that the next year's team can build upon our successful summer (I doubt so, our team was incredible) and I will send all of our young rising stars to you in the future.
13. Coach Maddux
    We have been searching for words to thank you, but, really, words are insufficient. All we could think of, as parents, is, do your parents know what their son has done for others?  Regardless of outcome, although the result of your effort is a remarkable personal achievement, you have created a world, a society, where personal best with honor is the goal, but only with and for your team.  And, the fun, the camaraderie, . . . Have you ever had a Madlax celebration? The players and coaches, both current and alumni, have lots to celebrate, every year.  It would be easy to do -- Pulchinella, for instance, right in downtown Mclean, has a banquet room downstairs and does a great buffet.  Let us know if this is a possibility, and if you would like parental assistance.  We and XXXX are so so well satisfied with this Fall's play.  We were chewing our nails, because of the time taken for academics and golf this Fall, but he had personal bests in both, and the chance to play lacrosse was his greatest reward.  The Denison coach happened to catch XXXX's best game, so that didn't hurt.  We will let you know how that turns out.
14. Dear Coach Maddux
    As you may know, XXXX was accepted early decision at Middlebury, where he will be starting college in the fall.  He is really happy about getting in to the school that was by far his top choice, and we are happy for him.  We wanted to thank you for all the help you provided in the college recruiting process.  Your recommendation made a huge difference at Middlebury, and XXXX was pleased to get serious attention from several other fine colleges and lacrosse programs in the Northeast.  He thoroughly enjoyed playing for Team Madlax last summer. You have a great program!  Happy New Year, and best wishes for continued success in the future.  Thanks again for everything.
15. Dear Coach Maddux, 
    This is xxxxx, and I would like to inform you that I have been admitted to Denison University and I will be attending. I would also like to thank you for all your help throughout my college process and for giving me the chance to play on team madlax. The tournaments and memories will last me a life time and i am very grateful for all that you have done for me. Thank you very much and I'm sure I will see you in the summer for mell.  
16.  Thank you for a such an enjoyable summer season. As you mentioned the players enthusiasm, I must echo how the players of "Soph Blue" played their hearts out in every game. From the first tournament at Episcopal they formed such a loyalty to each other. The truly worked throughout the summer as a team, and I especially think that showed at Tri-State. For them to lose their first game by such a devastating loss, and then rally back on Saturday 4-0. That was amazing. I'm glad that xxxx was able to experience this type of camaraderie

17. The coaches were indeed motivational, knowledgable, great teachers and set a high standard for the boys and families. I can recommend the MadLax program as best program for youth LaCrosse in country! Proud to be part of this summer's team.

    Thank you again for all of your time and effort in working with the MadLax Sophomores Blue team. It was a pleasure watching the squad work hard and continually improve. You did an outstanding job creating a very positive environment for the young men to learn and enjoy the game of lacrosse. XXX thoroughly enjoyed himself and learned a lot under your leadership. Continued success in the future and we look forward to seeing you next summer.
