About Madlax....Our Mission
The Washington DC area's original and largest lacrosse specialty store, MadLax Sports has grown into one of the nation's top lacrosse stores. Founded in 1996 by Cabell Maddux, an All-American attackman and two-time National Champion at Hobart College, MadLax has been involved with teams on every level of lacrosse, from the youth leagues to the World Games. It is the missions of MadLax that we help grow this exciting game, spread our passion, and provide you with what it is you need to achieve that.
MadLax offers only highest quality products from every major manufacturer and even produces its own line of apparel, MADGEAR. We only carry products with the latest in style, design, and material so that we are able to make you or your teams look sharp for any occasion. Madlax Sports, formerly known as Madlax Corner, was founded as a retail store in McLean, VA in January of 1997 by Cabell Maddux. The name is a combination of his last name (Mad) and the abbreviation of the word lacrosse (Lax). A '94 graduate of Hobart College, he was the MVP of the NCAA national championship game in 1993, the last title Hobart College won. He has been a head coach at three local high schools in the DC area. He was named DC area 'Coach of the Year' by the Journal in 2004. He also coordinates all of the Madlax lacrosse programs; Team MADLAX All-Stars, Camps and elite leagues for boys and girls. Madlax All-Stars is an elite group of 10-18 year old boys that attend select college recruiting and all-star tournaments around the region.
Robbie Thomas is the national head of team sales. Mike Roberson manages the Madlax-McLean retail store, Riley Fox manages the Madlax-Olney retail store, and Scott Lemen manages the Madlax-Alexandria retail store. Paul Hagood is the buyer and general manager of all stores. He also the Internet Manger as he oversees the internet receiving and shipping. Mike Freudiger, the web tenchnician, designer and graphic artist is responsible for all the creative for Madlax. He is our in house artist who designs every logo for every team and every design for all our MadGear apparel. All of these guys played in college and most also coach in our Madlax Lacrosse All-Star Academy.

Women's Team Sales Coordinator
We are now searching for a woman who would be in charge of our Women's Team Sales Division and work from our McLean, VA headquaters. You would also become a ladies apparel and equipment consultant for MadGear, our private label, and help to create and buy exciting and original apparel for girls of all ages for the retail locations and madlax.com. This person must be great with people, organized and motivated. You should have the energy for an exciting career in the lacrosse industry. You will also have the ability to help administrate and/or coach for Madlax Lacrosse events (camps, leagues, all-star teams, touraments). Lacrosse playing and/or coaching experience is required and sales experience is preferred. You will have the constant support of an experienced sales group and graphic art department from MadLax HQ. Although sales experience is preferred, an individual who is competitive, driven and goal-oriented will succeed as a significant part of our team.
Team Sales Territory Coordinators
We are hiring a MadLax Territory Coordinators in most regions now in the nation but especially: Chesapeake (Baltimore, MD, Annapolis, MD, DE), Pennsylvania (esp. Philly), New England (MA, ME, NH, VT, RI), Long Island (NY), Southeast (FL, GA, SC, NC), Northwest (CA, OR, WA), Gulf Coast (TX, AL, MS, LA), Mountain (CO). You will be an outside sales representative acting as an independent contractor with support from our headquarters in McLean, VA. Lacrosse knowledge required and sales experience highly preferred. This is a part-time position that has unlimited potential for earnings through commission on every team sale.
Description: The Territory Coordinator position demands high levels of organization, energy, and motivation as you will be involved in the process from initial contact with a coach until complete delivery of all products. This person will oversee an individual team sales territory with assistance from MadLax HQ. You will design exclusive uniforms and apparel, create custom team gear packages, and/or deal directly with all the major manufacturers in lacrosse. You will have the constant support of an experienced sales group and graphic art department within MadLax HQ. Although sales experience is preferred, an individual who is competitive, driven and goal-oriented will succeed as a significant part of our team. At least 3 years of living in a community within your territory is preferred.
