The Houndstooth pattern is making a comeback! After the success of items like last year's Warrior Kryptolyte houndstooth handle, Warrior's limited edition Mac Daddy Houndstooth gloves or Adrenaline's houndstooth hats even more people are introducing houndstooth products. Now Reebok is offering it's 10k line and 9k heads in houndstooth, including the 10k head, 10k O-Tec handle and 9k Career heads. These are great universal heads and handles for any level player. Also, MadLax has released a lime green houndstooth tee shirt, sizes run from youth large to adult large.

So what is houndstooth you ask? houndstooth is a duotone textile pattern, characterized by broken checks or abstract four-pointed shapes. The traditional colors are black and white. Houndstooth checks originated in woven wool cloth of the Scottish Lowlands, but are now used in many other materials. The traditional houndstooth check is made with alternating bands of four dark and four light threads in both warp and filling or weft woven in a simple two by two twill, two over - two under the warp, advancing one thread each pass.
